Bitten is great series, I love Elena as the main female character she is the only female werewolf that has ever completed the change and lived. In the beginning we learn that all she wants is a normal life and not be part of the werewolf world, and is trying to deny her nature. Not only is she not going about it in a healthy way but in a way that could very well backfire and be very dangerous. The other characters are quite interesting in their own way, Jeremy the alpha of there "family", Clay the muscle, Logan the person who keeps every one together, Nick the joker, and his father Antonio the business man and finally Pete the warp tour musician, Than there are strays and other packs in other parts of the world.

Season 1 -based on Bitten by Kelly Armstrong

We begin with Elena who is true to who she is in the books a lone female werewolf in a male werewolf world, She is forced to leave Toronto, her boyfriend and her work as a photographer behind, to go back to the pack in upstate New York because there have been murders and Jeremy believes it was a werewolf.

Going to Stonehaven she has one goal. Get ride of this mutt so she can go back home to Toronto. Elena still has feelings for Clay but doesn't want to pursue them as she has "moved on" with a man she loves in Toronto. I did like how they give a back story to Clay and Elena because if you haven't read the books you don't know what happened between them. As we move on in season one there are some differences concerning the outcome of the mutt(s). Further on in season one With the alpha in danger the rest of the pack tries to cover his injury and keep his alpha status. Elena than moves back to Stonehaven to prepare for the war they're all about to face with the mutts. Also a new person is introduced as Jeremy's father Maclom.

And I know that this is a show and its not going to exactly like the book but my big thing is that if your going to kill someone do it the right way and when I'm talking about this only because I feel like it could have been very easy to implement considering it happens pretty much in the beginning of the book. Other than that I loved the way they did the first season. Also just putting in here that Logan is supposed to die in the first season but has died in the second season and there is Rachel and is still pregnant.

Season 2 -Based on Stolen by Kelly Armstrong

In season 2 we are brought to a few new books in the bitten season. We are introduced to witches which the werewolf's didn't knew existed. More to find out that there is a compound that has more than just werewolf's and witches but other supernatural people and species. Elena is taken along with Logan and Rachel. So the pack works alongside the witches to recover what both the pack and the coven have lost. The more information they learn about the coven they also learn about the abductor and his followers.

Clay and Elena are exploring there relationship. Clay is all in and Elena is holding back a little as she lost her boyfriend not long ago and in the first season we learn about why Elena has distanced herself form Clay and their long and brutal history. Also if you have read the books you also know their history. One thing on this topic I'm glad they kept there history so close to the original story. But they also left out some characters, such as the supernatural male and other female characters in the compound Elena and Savannah are in but also the other supernatural characters that Jeremy and the rest of the pack meet along with Paige and Ruth. And while Elena is captured Clay goes a little crazy and will do anything to get her back along with the rest of the pack. When they find out who Alester really is and what his plan is, they look for him and try and stop him, And finally the final episode is the inevitable show down between the pack who has allied with the witches and Alester and his powers.

Season 3 -Based on not really any book so far.

Finally season 3.... We start off with a Premonition Elena has about burning their empire to the ground and it shakes her up, and she now doubts her ability to lead the pack. The pack has lost many members, they have defeated enemies, gotten closer as a family and a pack.Jeremy as pack leader has decided to force the mutts to either join his alliance or die. There is no persuasion its yes or no. Some of the mutts chose the alliance and try to double cross Jeremy but it doesn't work out in there favor. Elena isn't all for this decision and she is worried about more mutts trying to kill and target them. Jeremy has also announced Elena as his successor, Logan has died and Rachel has had their baby how is showing to be more than a wolf and no one except Nick is allowed to see her. Which Elena isn't happy about since she already isn't happy about Jeremy's decision about the mutts.

Also Elena has her own personal issues to deal with such as this man comes to meet her claiming he is her father and he has a girl and boy with her claiming to be her sister and brother. She also learns that a man who is the alpha of the Russian pack Roman has history with her father and that he wants to kill him, her new sibling as well as herself. Roman tells Jeremy this and that Elena's father is murderous and dangerous and should be killed on site, But Roman sends his brother to harm her father but Elena is there and he attacks her. Elena tells Jeremy about her father and they meet and chat. Than Jeremy makes a meet with the Roman telling him that he has Elena's father and his kids but than tells him that he and Roman will settle this as he will not give him his brother as he attacked Elena. But in all the chaos Clay tries to cheer up Elena by showing her the house he has been looking at to move into together With Jeremy's knowing and blessing. WE are also still following the witches as their alliance and friendship with the wolves is still intact. We see Savannah mature more into her powers. We also see a romance between Paige and another wolf. I won't reveal the ending as that would be rude so you will just have to watch it.

But let me put in here that all of this doesn't actually happen in the books. Elena's parents have died and she has no siblings. So everything along this story line doesn't happen in the books. I like what they did, but I would like to see them bring in the books more. I would also like to bring to your attention is that since Logan was supposed to die in the first book there is no Rachel and no baby in the books.
