You've been warned :)
This was rated a 1/5 starts for me and trust me the 1 star is because I absolutely loved the book until... the very last chapter.
That ending..... felt like I wasted my time reading this book at all.
This lover - enemies - lovers story was sooo good until the last chapter and it really brought the whole book down and made it feel like I just wasted my time. The whole reason these two don't get along was because they were together and our MMC cheated. It's what really propels this story in most ways it also feels the hatred for the MMC's relationship with his father and. doubts about himself and our FMC's #1 hatred and outlook and comments about "Jocks". Only to get to the VERY LASt chapter for the MMC and the girl he cheated with's confrontation and to find out they NEVER actually slept together and the book to end and jump to the future for the epilogue. like what the actual hell!?! That catalyst for the whole novel gets swiped under the rug without light confrontation or conversation between our main characters to clear the air or anything... for the main character to tell this girl off or anything just we get that news dropped on us and than the end....? like I just wasted my time and if the author wasn't going to actually do anything with the information, then they shouldn't have brought it up and left the main characters in their happy bubble and working things out as they had been. But NO they dropped that bomb and just ended the book.... And to me made this novel feel like a waste or time, and they should have just let the book end at the MMC telling the girl off and going back to the friend group.
