This book was so good. A hockey romance book with a book worm who works at a book store? this is it. I don't much like with authors break the fourth wall but Robyn did it very
well. The theme of this novel was great too. I also loved the complete opposites of the MC's family dynamics, We got to down-low without it being in your face or over the top, I also loved that the characters didn't jump each others bones right away. We had time to love them individually and enough time to root for them as a couple. Maya has taken care of her siblings as her mother as she describes her. Not a bad mom but a trust fund baby who lacks responsibility. and was/is never around. She has trust issues and doesn't like relying ion others as sh hasn't had the luxury. Then we have the opposite in Cole pro hockey player who lost his twin brother and fellow pro hockey player to a horrible car accident, but he has a very supportive family and once they meet they have to overcome their own grief and trust as with every great romance novel and this delivered everything it needed to and more.
